In Season 7, Haley and her two sisters are told by their mother that she has cancer. Haley and her sisters are obviously very upset that their mother has cancer. They haven't told Jamie yet. Jamie and Quinn decide to make one random day to an amazing occasion; Christmas. The doctors promised that their mother would have a couple of months left. However, she ends up in the hospital sooner than expected and passes away. Haley has a very hard time dealing with her mother's death. Nathan gives Haley a bracelet that he once gave when they were in high school. It said that it fixed him.



Haley: Whatever prize you find in that box is not going to fix me.

Nathan: Why not? It fixed me.
